In partnership with Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS), Frederick County Government Human Resources is offering free employment drop-in sessions & workshops to help job seekers navigate the job fair, online application website, resume review, interview techniques, and more!   

Navigating a Job Fair Workshop: Sponsored by Frederick County Workforce Services and Human Resources

Participants will learn job fair tips, strategies to use before, during and after the job fair.  This workshop will also include tips for interviews, resumes, and cover letters, 

2 Sessions available:

  • Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. 
  • Friday, May 10, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. 

Location: Frederick County American Job Center, 200 Monroe Ave., Frederick.

Frederick County Government Human Resources, along with Frederick County Workforce Services, will be connecting with the four corners of Frederick County for Apply WITH Us Drop-In Sessions.  Chromebooks will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  Applicants are asked to have access to a resume, certifications, or any other supplemental documentation they wish to attach to their application.

  • Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Frederick County American Job Center, 200 Monroe Ave., Frederick. 
  • Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at Middletown Library, 31 E. Green Street, Middletown.
  • Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at C. Burr Artz Library, 110 E. Patrick Street, Frederick
  • Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Walkersville Library, 2 S. Glade Road, Walkersville.
