Frederick County, MD 911 is hosting a one day hiring event on Wednesday, December 3 beginning at 8 a.m. at Frederick County Public Safety Training Facility. Attendance is required in order to be considered. Interested applicants must arrive prior to 1 p.m. NOTE: Submitting your application in advance is strongly encouraged. 

Recruit Salary: $22.45/hourly with full County benefits.

At the Frederick County Adult Detention Center every day is unique.  Correctional Officers and Civilian Correctional Staff work with the community, the entire criminal justice system, and those entrusted to the Corrections Bureau’s care and custody by the courts.  Officers and staff are constantly training and learning to face the unique challenges raised by this commitment.  Correctional Officers’ say that fulfilling a sense of duty brought them to their career in the Corrections Bureau of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.  As they grow in their role as a Correctional Officer, they enjoy the benefits, job security, training opportunities and room for career advancement.

Take the first step in your criminal justice career!  Our Deputy Sheriff's serve and protect the community members of Frederick County through proactive patrols, emergency response, and community engagement. 

Deputy Sheriff Recruit Salary:  $31.54/hourly with full County benefits.
